ServiceMaster by Althouse Cleaning employees seal boxes after ozone treatment. The room behind the man taping the boxes is the ozone room, the piece of equipment (hanging on the wall to his right) generates ozone and pumps it into the room. After thorough cleaning, objects are bathed in ozone for 24 hours to assure that any remaining smoke odor is completely neutralized. As ozone comes into contact with a polutant, one of its three oxygen atoms bond with it and changes its molecular structure.
